ISEBTT now has an awards committee overseeing the announcement of travel grant recipients (based on applications), as well as awards based on evaluation of presentations (both oral presentations and posters). This year about 35 travel grants are available, see below.
The awards committee will make sure only one travel grant is awarded per participant. When submitting your abstract, you will be asked if you are eligible for a best presentation award (student or early stage researcher), and all eligible presentations will be considered for one of the presentation awards.
Travel grants: By generous donation of the Doreen J. Putrah Cancer Foundation of 35 travel grants, graduate students and PostDocs/Early Stage Researchers (within 5 years of receiving a PhD, meaning degree was awarded in 2019 or later) working in the field of electroporation related biomedical research, particularly, but not limited to, nanosecond pulsed electric fields, electrochemotherapy and irreversible electroporation may be eligible for a 1000 USD travel grant. Please find the application form here.
