Welcome Ceremony
evening of Sunday, 15 September
The welcome ceremony will be held at the historical Church of San Pietro in Vincoli (located at Piazza di San Pietro in Vincoli, 4/a).
The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail reception at the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome (300 metres walking). If the weather will be good, in the historical cloister. Otherwise, inside the venue. The welcome cocktail will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and the chance to reconnect with colleagues from around the world.
Congress Dinner at Palazzo Brancaccio
evening of Wednesday, 18 September
The Congress dinner will be held in this historical dwelling, in baroque style, located just a step away from the Domus Aurea, between the Colosseum and the basilicas of San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggiore, at a two km walking distance from the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome (i.e., the Congress venue).
The location has a magnificent Gala Room and several other rooms where the seated dinner will be held.
Palazzo Brancaccio has also a beautiful and 1000 square meter extended park where the welcome aperitif will be set.
The evening will be the perfect location to enjoy delicious food in a luxury atmosphere and stay with colleagues, but also to enjoy after dinner dancing with the music of an Italian DJ.
How to participate
Attendance at the Welcome Ceremony is included in the registration fee. For the Congress Dinner at Palazzo Brancaccio, there is a fee of €25, and it can be purchased separately during the online registration process.
